The Electrical Contractors Association of Alberta (ECAA) is offering an Alberta-specific fire alarm course for electricians, but minimum registration numbers must be met for the course to go ahead.

This session will be held in-person at ECAA’s offices in Edmonton, March 22-26, 2021, following all provincial health guidelines.

This course meets the requirement for those journeymen who wish to apply for a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for the maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems, and serves as a great refresher for those working in the field.

Alberta electricians certified prior to 1991, as well as journeymen with credentials from out-of-province, are eligible to receive a PIN upon successful completion of the exam.
